Hi,
I have just released at Joomlacode.org new versions of sh404SEF : 1.3.3 for Joomla 1.0.x, and 1.0.3 for Joomla 1.5.x. They are mostly bug fixes releases, with a few new features :
- added a DeepPocket plugin
- Updated Sobi2 plugin, sponsored by Sean at Themebot.com
- New logo ! thanks again to Chris Rault at Joomlajunkie
- Added a changelog.txt file with each version, located in the administrator/components/com_sef (or /com_sh404sef) directory. It is automatically generated based on SVN commits, and so far it does not look too good, but it will improve next time!
- A new tab was added to configuration : "Very advanced". Thsi give you access to some "hidden" settings. Handle with care, you can easily break things if you type wrong things!

Version u of sh404SEF is available from Joomlacode.
This release only fixes a couple of small but bothering bugs in
version t : URL with ? in them would were not properly cleaned up and
would cause 404 errors. As well, trimming of characters at the
beginning or end of SEF URL was done slightly differently in version t
than in pas version, and that would have caused 404 as well for people
upgrading from previous version of sh404SEF.
Sorry for the
trouble, hope everthing is fine now. If you already upgraded to version
t, then upgrade again to u. You will need to purge URL after upgrade so
that they are recreated properly.

Version t of sh404SEF is now available from Joomlacode. Main new features are:
- new upgrading mechanism, which will preserve all parameters and data, including : SEF URL, custom URL, custom Meta data, shJoomfish and shCustomtags modules parameters and publication information
- improved multi-pages article handling. each page will now have its own URL, based on headings, instead of the current : .../Page-2.html, .../Page-3.html.
- Same for the Title tags of each individual page - no more same title on these pages (automatically I mean)
- native plugins for SOBI2, Remository, HotProperty, IJoomla NewsPortal, improved Mtree
- Community Builder : users can now access their profile with a short URL : www.mysite.com/username (no need for CB plugin, done by sh404SEF)
- import of SEF URL from OpenSEF export file
- Support for "Splash" pages (an index.html file, displayed before accessing the main Joomla site). Though I really not recommand using splash pages, sh404SEF will no be able to maintain home page handling when having a splash page
- improved processing of /vmchk/ for Virtuemart : if a search engine is requesting such a page, sh404SEF will prevent virtuemart from from doing it cookie check redirect, remove the /vmchk/ bit from the URl and set up the appropriate variable so that Virtuemart think the cookie check was successfull. It will therefore not displayed the not so nice warning on each page indexed in search engines!
Additionnaly, if an old page stored in a search engine is requested, with a vmchk command in it, sh404SEF will do a 301 redirect to tell it to update its link
- button to directly set homepage Title and Meta, no need to type in Home pagenon-sef URL anymore
- slightly improved backend
- added (partial) Dutch translation, (thanks to Sven Godijn)
- Can wortk with Mambo 4.6.2 (not fully mutli-lingual yet though, code are inserted, but URL are not translated)
- many, many bug fixes (see change log)
I have also updated a bit the documentation, including some details on upgrading .

Version 1.2.4.s of sh404SEF is now available from Joomlacode. Main changes are :
- new operating mode : no more .htaccess file
- integrated title and meta tags management
- content item titles between h1 tags (without hacking Joomla)
- manual or automatic duplicate URL management
- automatic 301 redirect between www and non-www version of site URL
- automatic management of search engine indexing of Virtuemart vmcchk=1 pages
- new native plugins : myBlog, moset tree, Docman
- many bug fixes

Version 1.2.4.q is available again for download from Joomlacode. I did upload it late last night, but this morning I came across a couple of bugs. I decided to simply remove it from download, as I had no time to fix anything.
Hope everything is fine now, and I will read through the forum to checkout questions.
