Hi all, A short post to give you a bit of explanation about what happened to support site recently. It was quite simply subject to hacking, a vicious hacking as it would not simply deface the site, but rathe try to hide. Around August 28-29, hackers got in and installed a couple of "phishing" sites. They fired them up last friday, with the immediate results of going over the CPU quota allocated by the hoster to my account. I cleaned up infected files, or so I thought. Yesterday, they put up again a "phishing" site. This was detected by my host, which suspended my account. I have spent some more time cleaning up, and I think everything is ok now. However, the initial vulnerability has not been identified, and probably won't be as raw access logs are only available by default for the last 24 hours. So I don't have logs for the days of intrusion. Acces logs archiving is on now, so if this happens again (and again, it may as initial vulnerability is unknown), at least we will be able to figure out the culprit (which may well not be Joomla, as far as I know). Yet I hope everything will be back to normal now...
